Zinc-Rich Sprays                                          70-45 Zinc-Spray
70-43 Zinc-Sheen (Spray)

Simple in Application:

Shake can well before and during use, and finger pressure is all that is needed to produce a continuous protective spray.
Dependent on the reference it will give 90 or 93% zinc in the dry film. The zinc purity is 99%.
Observe instructions on the product label. Do not purge the valve when finished! Metaflux zinc-rich sprays are equipped with a self-cleaning valve!
The mixing of the zinc-rich sprays' content is the key to an even, good film quality: shake the can well before and during application, i. e. shake thoroughly until the mix-balls in the can can be heard and then keep on shaking for another 30 seconds. Spray up to 10 seconds crosswise, then again shake can shortly but briskly, spray another 10 seconds crosswise etc.  Also important are a clean work-surface (see below), temperature (ideally, can and work-piece both at ambient temperature), humidity, etc.

Reliable in action

Metaflux zinc-rich sprays provide the proven reliability of zinc-based surface protection.
Adhesion and resulting resistance of metal spray coatings to mechanical stress is better if applied to a rough surface than if applied to a highly polished smooth surface. A short spraying produces an approx. 30 µm thick protective coating.

on all blank metal surfaces. Remove dirt, oil, grease, wax, silicone or similar soilings prior to coating.
 

Secondary corrosion protection

on an already existing rust-film by creating a tight barrier to air and water. Clean from loose rust and soilings beforehand.

Indispensable for jobs at the workshop and on site

The coating is conductive and can be welded. The thoroughly dried coating has a good resistance to mechanical stress and is to a large extent impervious to acids and alkalis. Coatings on outside surfaces should be overcoated to prevent ageing.

Drying time

Touch-dry after 20 minutes at 20º C and normal humidity. Reduce drying time by IR-heating or fanning.

Overpainting

Let the 70-37 coating dry completely. In general, all paints and lacquers are suitable for overpainting. Test always for compatibility especially if overcoating by systems with high solvent content and/or aggressive solvents is intended.

Corrosion protection

Test certificate on corrosion protection according to DIN 50021, DIN 53167, DIN 53210 and DIN 53209; results of the salt spray test after 150, 300, 450 and 600 hours and at coating thicknesses of 35, 58 and 70 µm. Stops penetration/migration of rust at incidental cuts.

Cathodic corrosion protection, zinc grey, especially for the zinc coating of parts for interior use and as a primer before painting, fast drying.

Zinc paste 70-40

Cathodic corrosion protection which can be sprayed on or applied with a brush, 96% zinc in the dry film, zinc grey, coatings of up to 150µm thickness can be obtained with the heavy-layer process.

The original active constituents of 70-81 in the form of a paste which can be brush applied and which has the same properties as 70-81.

Moly spray 70-82

Heavy duty lubricant and separating spray with anti-seize action, resistant to water, oil and many acids and alkalis, pressure up to 3.600 kp/cm², temperature range from –80°C to +1.200°C.

Transparent bonding lubricant, resistant to high pressure, prevents seizing and corrosion, very high resistance to aggressive substances, temperature range from –30°C to +200°C.

HT Super spray "with Teflon®" 70-89

Synthetic chain spray 70-88
